Ashley Sipe

The Carolina Coast has always felt like home to me. I moved to Myrtle Beach in 1996 to work for the summer before going to college. I fell in love with the coast. Long story short, ended up graduating from Coastal Carolina University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and went on to get a masters degree at Webster University in Myrtle Beach. I stayed in Myrtle Beach for 17 years before relocating to Winston Salem, NC.
While in Winston Salem I met a custom home builder that specializes in Luxury Custom Homes that loves the coast as much as I do. I started to work with him at JT Sipe Building in 2013, which sparked my interest in construction and Real Estate. While selling Rea Estate in Winston Salem and working closely with my (now) husband, we found ourselves retreating to my parent’s house in Ocean Isle Beach almost every weekend. It wasn’t long before we bought a property as our 2nd home in a community on the Intercoastal Waterway in Ocean Isle. What was originally every other weekend visits,  quickly became every weekend.
As one can imagine, loading up 2 large dogs and a cat every week became a hassle.  Sunday nights became dreaded because we would have to go back to Winston. Everything about the coast just felt like home to us. By this time my my husband’s parents and many of our friends also purchased property in the same neighborhood in Ocean Isle that my parents lived in.
Once you visit the Carolina Coast you will understand the lure. It becomes impossible to leave!  My husband and I struggled for a few years figuring out how we could financially relocate to Ocean Isle, and begin rebuilding clientele on the coast. We have both been so fortunate to work with so many amazing clients in the Triad, that it made it difficult to make the jump. Eventually we decided to make Ocean Isle our primary residence, and haven’t looked back.
Once we made the decision, I immediately knew I wanted to work with Silver Coast Properties.  I had such a favorable experience purchasing property from Darren, and and a positive experience working with him on other referrals, I knew it would be the perfect fit.
It has always been important to me that I work with someone that conducts business with Integrity and professionalism.
Clients often comment that my greatest strengths are my knowledge of the construction process, communication and follow up, negotiating skills, and always putting looking after their best interest. I take my responsibility of guiding clients through the process and giving them knowledge so they can make informed decisions. Nothing makes me happier then finding the perfect home for clients!
In my free time I love riding road bikes, mountain bikes, Cyclocross, saltwater fishing, hiking and running. I’ve completed several marathons and two half Iron Man races.
My greatest joy lies in being mom to my 10 year old son, wife to hubby, John, and cherish time with my two dogs, Agnes and Ollie and cat, Carlos.
